Delphi was the first RAD (rapid application development) tool available for Object Pascal and Delphi has been the most-used RAD tool for Pascal development in the world since it was introduced in 1988. Embarcadero Software, Inc. acquired Delphi from Borland Software Corporation in May 2001. On 29 March 2006, Embarcadero announced that Delphi was licensed to a third party, Borland Software Corporation, which was acquired by Symantec (now owned by Norton) in March 2008.[4]
Delphi development tools include an integrated development environment (IDE), integrated debugger, wizards, libraries, and a native GUI builder. It also offers an integrated development server, which enables developers to debug, test, and deploy software remotely.
Embarcadero started selling Delphi for Mac OS X as a commercial product in June 2006, initially under the name Embarcadero XE2 and later XE3/XE4.[5] When a new version of XE is released, older versions of Delphi are no longer supported. In addition Embarcadero offers a free, open-source version of Delphi for Mac OS X named Open Packager for Xcode (OPX). This version is only compatible with the open-source Xcode development tool.[6]
Delphi is not an object-oriented language; it is a procedural, strongly typed, object-oriented, and object-component-oriented language. However it does not require reference counting, weak typing or dynamic typing.
Lazarus can be used in tandem with the Delphi and C++ Builder IDE s.c. also for development of the code for the FreePascal compiler and runtime. Other platforms can be used such as Linux and Mac OS X.
Lazarus can be integrated into commercial and open source software. You have all the advantages of the Lazarus IDE and the Power of the FreePascal compiler in one and the same environment. This allows you to create Lazarus Applications for multiple platforms that could never be done by using multiple IDE s.
If another hacker does this, then they will be able to put any game on the ps3 in a matter of minutes! and that means that Sony will be out of the console market for good. We have seen what happens when sony doesn't support games anymore. Nintendo is turning a profit, now it is time for Sony to do the same, or else they are dead.
I don't see the appeal of owning a Sony PS3, and I don't see the value of the PS3 as an entertainment device. Sony has become one of the most untrustworthy companies in the gaming industry in my eyes. 827ec27edc
