They say that any comedian who wants to make it big time have to make his debut in Chennai. A comedian who has started off his career in Chennai at the tender age of just 14 years, is none other than, the popular comedian, Vijay TV.In his new movie, 'Dharma Durai,' he will be seen battling a huge competition from other comedians who have already made their debut in the film industry. This is going to be Vijay TV's first attempt to make a mark in the comedy industry.Vijay TV had stopped doing comedy shows for quite a while and it's almost like the 'whistle' got blown off. 'Dharma Durai' has been screened in more than 30 theatres across the country and from the results that the film has been getting, it seems like it's going to be a good venture.The Great Indian Laughter Challenge is a contest that was started by Ilaiyaraaja to find the funniest comedian in the country. The winning comedian gets a contract with UTHR and gets a good amount of money to showcase his comedy act. It is a good chance for young comedians to make their mark in the industry.The only problem is that Vijay TV, the host of the contest, is not confident about his act. The only thing he has in his mind is that he should be able to get the best comedy prize money.
