This mod, the Tutorial System, now plays a video before starting the game. This video walks you through basic gameplay, relaxing you in advance for future events and lore, allowing you to experience matches well-paced in comparison to vanilla XCOM.

Originally the tutorial was a series of text messages from the computer, but in the summer of 2017 we were told we could use a video and started work on it. XCOM 2 is committed to keeping the tutorial as immersive as possible, and players with and without the tutorial won t have different experiences.

Using the Steam#LibraryPath command, you can tell the game where to search for your library dependencies, which are automatically downloaded to your user directory (normally, in $STEAM/Library/SteamApps/common/SteamApps/common/Xcom 2 or $STEAM/$USER/Library/SteamApps/common/SteamApps/common/Xcom 2 )

In the main menu, you select your game and select Open Exporter. The game will be listed in the list of games you played for this session. Use Export to save the game containing your exporter to the game that will be played in the future.

Now you only need to play, and when you finish playing, run the exorter to finish processing any data you created. This commonly includes recording any completed research projects for your base, all the war assets and soldier traits you earned. d2c66b5586
